We're
all about community participation:
We are private citizens and responsible corporate leaders working in a proactive
partnership with the City Council, City Managers, City Engineers and others
for the betterment of our city. Through this cooperative effort, we propose
and fund improvements which are approved and maintained by the city.
One
example of this shared vision:
Funds were donated to the city for engineering new curbs and street
drainage along streets within Seal Beach such as Ocean Avenue. Trees and other
materials were provided to the city, and the city approved, and engineered
the project. The city then planted and maintained the trees.
This
would only have been possible through the dedication
and vision of all parties involved. Special thanks
go out to Mayor Charles Antos, Councilmen
Michael Levitt, John Larson, Paul Yost, Ray Ybaben,
City Manager John Bahorski, City Engineer Mark
Vukojevic, and the countless private citizens and
corporate donors who made this all possible.
It
is hoped that continued efforts such as these will
enable us to extend our efforts to all parts of
our city, thus making Seal Beach one of the most
attractive and livable cities in the country.
